Pastor Daniel Bremer was born (February 28, 1956) in Queens, New York, a burrough of New York City. Three years later his father, the late Daniel W. Bremer, was transferred to Charlotte, North Carolina where he grew up with his family: father, mother, Janette (now deceased), brother Doug, and sister Dana. Just before his junior year of high school his father was transferred once again to Clearwater, Fl. where he graduated from Largo High School in 1974.
Upon graduation he attended St. Paul’s College in Concordia, MO completing his studies in 1976. Following St. Paul’s he attended Concordia Teachers College, Seward, Nebraska where he earned a BS degree in 1979.
In August of 1975 he met his future bride at St. Paul’s College, Cynthia Mueller, and the two were married in 1977. To this marriage 4 children were born; Brooke (Bryan Saddler), Luke (Ciera), David, and Gretyl (AJ Bader). Cindy and Dan have 6 grand-children( Austin, Blake, Brynn, Brielle (Bryan and Brooke's), Dawson and Lincoln (Gretyl and AJ's) and two big yellow labs, Roxie and Stoeger.
Pastor Bremer has served the Lord in the ministry since 1984, graduating from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. His first call was to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Fairland, Ok where he served until 1988. In February of 1988 he took a call to Grace Lutheran, Grand Island, Ne where he continues to serve God and His people.
He is an avid golfer … actually it is much worse than that. He does do a little hunting in the winter only because it is too cold to golf.
